Eve grew up in Algonquin, Illinois, raised by her family and their companion dog, Boris. She was glued to his hip throughout childhood and never imagined she’d someday build a life surrounded by dogs.

Eve enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2015, serving as a Security Forces member before being selected to become a Military Working Dog Handler in 2018. During her distinguished career, Eve and her K9 partner, JJanssen, protected and safeguarded Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. The team routinely partnered with the Secret Service to help protect the President of the United States and other distinguished visitors, and among their notable assignments, Eve and JJanssen served during the 2021 Presidential Inauguration.

After being reassigned to Lackland Air Force Base, Eve continued her military service as a Military Working Dog Trainer, training hundreds of dogs to become mission-ready warfighters while developing and mentoring future handlers and trainers. She raised four puppies in her own home that successfully entered the program, one of whom was named after her, CCatania. In 2024, Eve was presented with the Master Trainer certificate, placing her among the top 2% of dog trainers in the Department of War.

After 11 years of honorable service, Eve is committed to helping owners and dogs live happy and meaningful lives together.
