Board and Train

Our Board and Train programs are the premier solution for Helotes families seeking significant, lasting behavior change. At Ivy League Canine Academy, we provide an immersive environment where your dog lives with a professional trainer to master everything from advanced off-leash obedience to resolving complex behavioral issues like reactivity or anxiety.

Alumni Training

After your dog graduates from our program, Ivy League Canine Academy offers monthly Alumni Sessions right here in the Helotes area. These group classes are an exclusive opportunity for our graduates to proof their skills in a high-distraction environment.

Whether we are training near the bustle of Old Town Helotes or practicing obedience at Helotes City Park, these sessions allow you to check in with our expert trainers, work on advanced socialization, and connect with other local owners who have shared a similar journey with their dogs.

Individual Training

We provide specialized behavior modification and custom training plans for Helotes families seeking a more personal approach. These intimate home sessions are exclusively available for families who have enrolled at least one dog in our Board and Train program but have other dogs in the household.

After an initial consultation, we will enroll the dogs requiring immersive behavioral work into our board and train program while simultaneously conducting at-home sessions for your remaining dogs. This ensures your entire pack in Helotes is working on the same communication system, creating a balanced and harmonious home environment.

This is ideal for creating a confident, reliable companion in various environments, such as parks or public spaces.
