At Ivy League Canine Academy, we offer a variety of packages to provide you and your dog with quality training. We serve dogs and their owners with comprehensive educational experience—we’re the experts in balanced dog training and dog behavior modifications in San Antonio, Von Ormy, Bulverde, and Schertz, TX. Individual Training Sessions
Specific behavior modification and do-it-yourself training plan. We offer these intimate and successful home sessions for families that have enrolled at least one dog in our board and train program but have other dogs in the household. After a consult we will enroll the dog(s) in our board and train program that need a more immersive behavioral course and will conduct at home sessions with your family for the remaining dogs, simultaneously. This allows for a more manageable household situation at home upon graduation and more success for every dog.
Our Board and Training Program
Our board and train programs are the primary solution for your dog’s obedience training and behavioral issues at Ivy League Canine Academy. ILK9 Academy offers several different packages to ensure we can find the right fit for your family based on your dog’s age, issues, and your goals. We do not offer cookie cutter programs that are seen throughout the industry. Every package we offer has been designed and refined to ensure the highest quality training for your dog and the highest quality education for the owner.
During your dog’s stay they are with their trainer 24 hours a day for the duration of their board and train. Your dog sleeps, eats, and trains in a household environment with the trainer’s family. There is no kennel facility where your dog is left alone with a kennel technician. We train to replicate real life situations and scenarios. After your dog graduates, we will bring the dog HOME TO YOU to facilitate a successful reunion with your family. This is a unique service that ILK9 Academy offers to avoid your dog attempting to revert back to previous, undesired behavior once they return home. We will help you with the reintroduction of your new dog into their old environment. You will feel like the dog trainer after our 1 on 1 lessons teach you all of the communication and training concepts your family will need for a successful life with your dog.
Our training packages are all inclusive, for the best value in San Antonio and central Texas. ILK9 Academy trainers use proven conditioning techniques with you and your dog, and provide the absolute highest quality canine equipment for you to continue training after your dog returns home. Each dog and owner that enrolls in an ILK9 Academy Board and Train program will receive an Ecollar Technologies Ecollar system, a Hermsprenger training collar, two biothane training leashes, and an ILK9 Academy training bed. Your trainer will teach you how to use this new equipment to give your communication and training unlimited potential.

TLC Board and Train – For Severe Aggression, Anxiety, or Behavioral Problems
3-4 weeks minimum depending on consult $4,200- $5,200

Aggressive behavior is specific in nature. At ILK9 Academy we take our time to identify the cause of the aggressive behavior or anxiety to make long lasting modifications. This requires extra time and patience for the benefit of the individual dog, safety of the trainers, and investment of the owners.

Good Dog For Life Program – $4800
Your young puppy will conduct a three-week board and train between the age of 3-6 months. At the completion of the first three weeks and three 1 on 1 training sessions, your dog will return home to you. We will train you how to continue improving with your dog until they return for their fourth and final week of off leash and environmental training sometime after they turn 10 months old. This program will ensure you have an incredible dog for their entire life!

Alumni Training Sessions
After your dog graduates from our training program, ILK9 Academy offers monthly Alumni Sessions. These group training sessions are exclusively offered for graduates as an opportunity to check in with the trainers, work on your dog’s socialization and obedience in a group setting, and connect with other owners that may have had a similar journey with their dog. The best part about the ILK9 Academy community is the connection we all share on our dog training journey. We are all in different places along that journey but we are stronger together!
Virtual Dog Training
We now offer a comprehensive training package that can help you modify your dog’s behavior and accomplish your goals from the comfort of your home. Our virtual dog training has an in-depth written curriculum, video instruction, and live check-ins with our training staff to ensure you become an educated dog owner.
