Once your dog has their obedience commands polished up, we start focusing on their ability to achieve a calm mental state and communicate with us regardless of where they are and what is going on around them. These areas include dog parks, home improvement stores, shopping malls, The Historic Pearl, the San Antonio Riverwalk, department stores, San Antonio International Airport, and other locations requested by the owner. ILK9 Academy trainers not only expose your dog to an incredible variety stimulation and environments but condition a routine for you to use when you bring your dog into new environments for the first time.

3. Owner Education:

This is the main focus of ILK9 Academy board and train programs because it is the single most important factor to ensure long term success for your family. It does not matter how well your dog performs for their trainer, if they can’t behave for you what is the point?

Your ILK9 Academy trainer will send you daily video updates that show what your dog accomplished during training, the techniques used, and how the lesson applies to your daily life. This can be thought of as virtual training for your family and will be accessible for you to refresh as long as YouTube exists. Your family will also partake in one on one training sessions with your ILK9 Academy trainer every week that your dog is in training. These training sessions do not have a time limit and are designed to make YOU the trainer by teaching all of the basic fundamentals that industry professionals use. After the completion of your final training session that takes place in your home, your ILK9 Academy trainer will not leave until your entire family feels completely confident to take the leash from us!
