"Alex & Ethan were phenomenal in helping us get our dogs on the right track they had a few nasty fights and suffer from severe reactivity toward dogs coming from a life in shelters and he was able to get them on the right track so that we could continue to help them learn to have a healthy relationship with each other and us. I would highly recommend his 2 week board and train to anyone looking for a very detailed and informative trainer! Thanks so much Guys!"

"I would highly recommend Alex for your dog training needs. He was great with my dog, Riley. Very compassionate, honest, dependable and friendly. I’m so grateful to Alex for training my dog as I am an older adult and having a puppy was a bit overwhelming. Riley is a new dog because of the expert training from Alex. He even customizes personal goals for your dog for your dogs training. Alex is very communicative throughout the entire process including daily updates."

"My husband and I decided to send our dog Mardi to Ivy League K9 Academy after discovering Alex’s official Instagram and reaching out to do a consultation. From my first correspondence with Alex it was apparent that he has a real passion for what he does. Mardi had started to become aggressive—barking at people and dogs/trying to attack people on walks/afraid to be out at night/jumping/anxious— we had no idea how to help him. Alex understood that Mardi needed to build his confidence and was probably reacting out of fear. We sent Mardi to ILK9A for the two week board and train program and Alex sent us daily training updates/videos/photos of his progress! To see the growth that Mardi was capable of in such a short amount of time was pretty remarkable for us. Alex tailored Mardi’s training and really made a connection with him. Mardi is now able to be around new humans and dogs without the fear and aggression that he was showing two weeks ago. He’s a more focused and confident dog and I can’t wait to be able to continue his training at home. In addition to Mardi’s training, my husband and I had a few sessions with Alex where he helped us to understand the new lessons and commands that Mardi had been working on and how we can translate that training into our daily routine to keep Mardi on track. I can’t wait to see where Mardi’s at in the next 6 months if this is how much he could grow and learn in two weeks. There’s no one else I would have trusted my baby with. Thank you to Alex and the ILK9Academy team for loving Mardi like he was their own."

"Alex helped us tremendously with our miniature schnauzer Duke. When he went to Ivy League Canine Academy, he was terrified of other dogs and people. Around day 5, Alex sent us a video with Duke walking on a leash along side other dogs. We never thought we'd see that. Alex is very communicative, sending videos and pictures daily. We knew exactly what training Duke did every day and how he responded. Although we weren't with him everyday, we could see the daily progress he was making daily. With Alex's training and instruction, we realized that we needed to learn the basics of communicating with and gaining trust from our dog. I'm glad Duke went to ILCA because without the training, he might have always been terrified of the world. Thanks so much Alex!"

"Our dog Coco was out of control doing whatever she wanted and running the household! She never listened, would bite our other dogs legs, shoes and anything she could find! What a huge difference the training with Alex made! We are so grateful to have an obedient dog that listens. We have learned so much and now we have a dog I can actually take on walks and to the park! Thank you Ivy League Canine Academy and Alex. You gave us our Coco back with manners!"
